“Inspiring Interiors,” a special edition publication by Design Bureau features the Archi-Tectonics designed Brewster Carriage House.
The spread showcases the building’s Green Roof, which includes two crystaline glass stair bulkheads, as well as the measures taken to provide an energy-efficient, sustainable roof-top in a historic landmark building. Also included is the penthouse staircase, built with reclaimed wood salavaged from the exisitng beams of the building. The renovation of the Brewster Carriage House is based on a sustainable building strategy that incorporates multiple ways of creating an energy-efficient, sustainable mixed-use building.
